Membership Terms
All new members attend a 2 week trial of our classes. This is priced at £40 and also includes a £25 administration fee (tiny tots is £35 with £25 admin fee included), and is paid prior to or on arrival of their first class. Thereafter, all fees are to be paid in half-termly instalments before the first lesson of the next half term. Fees also apply for classes not attended.
Sign up for a full term after your trial and receive a class for free (to be taken off your first full term).
We require a 4-week’s notice in writing if leaving the school, fees still charged within notice period.
Members who have completed their trial period are to obtain a full uniform if not already purchased (please consult school for price lists and order forms). We have strict rules on uniform as we need to see a dancers form to ensure correct technique.
No chewing gum or eating in class, no jewellery. Hair should be tied up for girls. Correct uniform ONLY
We would like parents to note that dancing is an extremely physical activity. The school may not be held responsible for injuries suffered due to the student’s own causation.
When a student is thought ready to move up a level/class it is their teacher’s decision only.
During lessons, it is sometimes necessary for limited physical contact to take place between pupil and teacher or pupil and pupil, for instance hands-on correct ion of alignment of leg, arm or body. LC Dance feel it necessary for you to be aware of this and for you to again give your permission (please discuss this with your teacher if unclear of exactly what is involved, further details on our full child protection policy, available to read on request). Only a teacher or licensed chaperone will assist pre-primary & primary pupils if they need help going to the toilet.
If a child is injured or becomes unwell during lessons, LC Dance staff may feel it necessary to apply limited first aid or call an ambulance, we again ask your permission to do this and ask that you supply full contact details for us to contact you immediately and any relevant medical history. There will always be a first aider present. If your child has an allergy to something, for example peanuts, beestings, plasters you should make this known to us and stay on the premises if possible and they are not able to use an EpiPen themselves.
Once you have completed your trial and enrolled, we will contact you via email and text message to send out newsletters and class updates, please see our Privacy Policy on our website for how we use your data.
LC Dance does not tolerate bullying of any kind, our anti-bullying policy can be found on the website.
We cannot accept responsibility for property or valuables brought onto the premises or for cars parked in the car park.
